St. Paul is the hometown of Charles M. Schulz, so of course I had to go seeking Peanuts statues, and was very lucky to find this one of Charlie Brown. He is actually representing a tribute to Italian Americans in the area.

And my mom spotted this Snoopy statue, near the museum, left over from the Peanuts on Parade event where statues of the characters were painted and installed all over town in 2000. So here in 2008, this was a great find as I thought they had all been auctioned off by now!
